Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oatmeal vs. Great Value 100% Whole Grain Old Fashioned Oats

Similarity Score: 98%

This is a great dupe! The only real differences are that the store brand smelled slightly sweeter and they were a tad mushier once cooked. However, these are very similar overall and we definitely recommend making the switch.

Jergens Natural Glow Plus Firming Daily Moisturizer vs. Equate Lovely Glow Daily Moisturizer

Similarity Score: 89%

We were pleased with this dupe! Both have very pleasant smells, but they are different. The store brand is more of a tropical scent while Jergens is more of a sweeter floral scent. Both lotions went onto the skin nicely and dried in essentially the same amount of time. With a high ingredients score you can expect to get an equally nice glow with this dupe. We're giving the green light to make the switch!

Sensodyne Extra Whitening Toothpaste vs. Equate Sensitive Extra Whitening Toothpaste

Similarity Score: 88%

This is a great dupe! Testers actually preferred the packaging of the store brand, because of its convenient flip top versus a screw top. It had a milder mint smell and flavor but not enough to notice on its own. With a high ingredients score we would happily recommend making the switch here.

Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars Oats & Honey vs. Great Value Oats & Honey Crunchy Granola Bars

Similarity Score: 88%

The store brand had a milder smell and not like that of honey, but when testers tasted both products their flavor was very similar. Testers also thought that the name brand was a little softer in texture. Overall, these are very similar products and we'd happily switch to the store brand.

Halls Cherry Cough Drops vs. Equate Cherry Cough Drops

Similarity Score: 87%

The name brand has a much stronger cherry smell while the store brand didn't appear to have any smell. As far as flavor, the name brand had a slightly stronger menthol taste and the store brand had more of a sweeter cherry taste in addition to the menthol. Overall, testers thought these were very similar products and would easily make the switch.

Kellogg’s Nutri Grain Soft Baked Breakfast Bars Apple Cinnamon vs. Great Value Apple Cinnamon Fruit & Grain Cereal Bars

Similarity Score: 78%

Testers noticed that the store brand smelled and tasted more like cinnamon, which gave it more flavor than the name brand. The texture of the store brand was much softer, which appealed to testers. We'd definitely recommend making the switch!

Kellogg’s Nutri Grain Soft Baked Breakfast Bars Strawberry vs. Great Value Strawberry Fruit & Grain Cereal Bars

Similarity Score: 77%

The store brand is sweeter in smell and taste but did not have as strong of a strawberry flavor as the name brand. Testers actually like the texture of the store brand more because it was softer and less bready. This is a great dupe and we'd be happy to make the switch.

Cheez-It Original Baked Snack Cracker vs. Great Value Cheddar Cheese Crackers

Similarity Score: 67%

Testers were not pleased with this store brand version. They thought it smelled like artificial cheese and had a softer texture almost like it was stale (yuck!). Once they tasted it against the well-known cheddar cheese flavor of the name brand, it was an easy decision. We will not be making the switch here.

L’Oreal Paris Collagen Moisture Filler vs. Equate Beauty Collagen Moisturizer

Similarity Score: 66%

Testers were not too impressed with this dupe. The name brand has a nice floral smell while the store brand seems to lack any fragrance making it smell like more of a sunscreen. The name brand was also thicker in texture like you'd expect from a cream, but the store brand was thinner like a lotion. It also felt more oily on the skin once rubbed in. Testers agreed they were not fans of the store brand and would not be switching in this case.

L’Oreal Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Eye Lift vs. Equate Beauty Reviving Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Eye Cream

Similarity Score: 56%

We were not impressed with this dupe. The store brand came with a seal that took a lot of product off with it. It also didn't have a very fragrant smell whereas the name brand smelled very pleasant going onto the skin. Based on the ingredient score, we would not recommend switching and think you should stick with L'Oreal. This is not a quality dupe.

Poise Long Length Light Absorbency Pads vs. Equate Options Light Absorbency Pads

Similarity Score: 56%

Yikes, we were not a fan of this dupe at ALL! Poise has a stickier bottom meaning it will stay in place better than the store brand. It is when we tested absorbency that we found big differences. Our tester could feel the moisture from the liquid through the Equate pad immediately. This is not something we want out of a leak protection pad! We highly recommend sticking with Poise.
