Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palette vs. Crown OMG

*Neither brand is cruelty-free. Makeup Captain, Kayla, says: Jaclyn’s palette is $38 & Crown Brushes palette is $15. All of the colors in Jaclyn’s palette are very vibrant, smooth to the touch & very easy to blend on the eye. This is a great palette to get if you are a beginner in makeup. So, I was very excited when I saw that Crown Brushes is a FANTASTIC dupe for the Jaclyn Hill palette. The only real difference that I found while using the Crown Brush palette is that a few shades (Cranapple, Chip & Central Park & Twerk) were a bit different. Cranapple in the Jaclyn Hill palette is this very vibrant red shimmer shade and in the Crown palette, it was a bit darker with a bit of a brown undertone. Same with Twerk a bit darker in the Crown palette compared to the other. Chip & Central Perk are warmer toned in the Jaclyn palette but in Crown, they were a bit cooler-toned. You do get a mirror in the Crown palette which is always a plus. Buy our pick

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette vs. Makeup Revolution Reloaded Palette in Fever

*Both brands are certified cruelty-free according to Ethical Elephant. Makeup Maven, Kayla, says:Naked Heat is $54 while Makeup Revolution is $7. Both palettes look extremely similar & MR does have 3 additional shades. When swatching both palettes side by side I noticed quite a few shades were basically the same. Ember, Ashes, En Fuego, Scorched, Dirty Talk, Lumbre, Low Blow, Sauced & Ounce from the HEAT palette were found in the MR palette. Both palettes had a buttery smooth formula which is very easy to blend. Both palettes had great pigmented shimmers & they were easy to apply to the eyelid with your finger. I did not need setting spray to get color payoff. Both eye looks lasted all day. In the end, I think Makeup Revolution has a great formula & fantastic price. I think it’s an awesome dupe for Naked Heat. Buy our pick

Tarte Tartlette Toasted Palette vs. Colourpop Double Entendre Eyeshadow Palette

*Both brands are certified cruelty-free according to Ethical Elephant. Makeup Maven, Kimberly, says:Wow! ColourPop's Double Entendre Eye Shadow Palette is a great dupe for Tarte's Tartlette Toasted Eye Shadow Palette. Their packaging is identical in shape and size, and the eye shadow pan colors are arranged in a similar way. The colors were SO alike, that I wasn't able to tell which palette I was wearing after application. Application for both shadows was very easy and blendable, and both palettes were extremely pigmented. I was seriously impressed by the amount of product my brush picked up for ColourPop! Wear time was fairly the same - I thought I saw a bit of creasing by the end of the workday from ColourPop, but it wasn't obvious at all (I really had to look for it, and I also had a sweaty day so that could have been a factor :) Overall, if you want to save $20 on eyeshadow, ColourPop is the way to do it! Natasha Denona Gold Palette vs. Alter Ego Goddess Palette

*Natasha Denona is cruelty-free according to Cruelty-Free Kitty and Alter Ego claims to be cruelty-free. Makeup Maven, Kayla, says: Natasha Denona's Gold Palette is $129 while Alter Ego's Goddess palette is $16. Both have 15 shades. Both palettes have a magnetic closure & have mirrors. Goddess is slightly smaller in size as well as pan size. Natasha's palette is definitely more luxe with its gold metallic cover & gold stitching. Inside it comes with a clear overlay that is stuck into the palette however you can remove it if you'd like. I really like that because it shows the shade names. In the Goddess palette, the names are below each shade. Looking at both products in their pans you cannot tell a difference. Swatching and using the shades you still cannot tell. There are a few shimmer shades that have a little bit of a different finish but the colors are extremely alike. Both products are very buttery & pigmented in the formula - very little fall out for both brands. They blend extremely easily and last all day. You do not need any glitter glue with any of the shimmer shades. They apply with your finger perfectly. Wearing both brands on each eye, I couldn't tell which was which and neither could a lot of my friends. Goddess is a perfect dupe for Natasha Denona's Gold palette. Formula wise it's a bit different but still very easy to work with. Color wise it's extremely similar. If you're wanting to save some major money - definitely go buy this! I was not disappointed. Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette in Amethyst vs. ColourPop It’s My Pleasure Purple Pressed Eyeshadow Palette

*Both brands are certified cruelty-free according to Ethical Elephant. Makeup Maven, Katie, says: Colourpop is $12 and Huda Beauty is $27. Both of these have almost the same colors, and they have the exact same amount of product in them. These are replicas in almost every way! There is just a slight difference in wear time, with Colour Pop lasting slightly longer, and the price of course. Buy our pick
