If you’ve been wearing your sunscreen this summer, take the safer way to tan with Loving Tan. Kayla says skip B. Tan.

Loving Tan vs. B. Tan

Both of these brands claim to be cruelty-free. Makeup Maven, Kayla, found Loving Tan for $40 for 4 oz and B.Tan for $15 for 6.7 oz. Kayla says: Both of these brands are heavily talked about on social media. A lot of influencers are given product to review or paid to review. I was excited to try both & give my honest review. I prepped before using each tanning mousse like you should - showered, shaved, exfoliated, dried off & moisturized. While these two tanners are a bit different (B.Tan is a 9-minute tanner & Loving Tan is a 2 hour) the results should be the same - a streak-free, long lasting golden bronze tan. Both are mousse formulas. Loving Tan smells like the usual self-tanner, I actually like the smell. B. Tan smells like play-doh. I wasn't really a fan. Loving Tan's color guide is dark brown while B.Tan's color guide is gray. Upon application of B.Tan, I was a bit put off by it. I looked like I just stepped out of a black & white movie. Application wise I think Loving Tan blended out over the skin much easier than B.Tan. Neither product was overly tacky after application. I actually felt like B.Tan was very drying. I kept Loving Tan on my skin for about 2 hours & showered off as the instructions said. I was left with a streak-free medium tan. My tan lasted about 5 days before it started to fade really well - no splotchiness. I left B.Tan on a little longer than 9 minutes per the instructions if you wanted a darker tan. After about 20 minutes I washed it off in lukewarm water per the instructions. When I got out - I saw no color difference that would indicate I had a tan. If anything the tanner left a strange ashy gray tint to my skin which I kind of expected after I applied it with its gray color guide. I was incredibly disappointed. I was really excited to try B.Tan since it's a 9-minute tanner & there seem to be so many positive reviews on the internet. But this was an absolute flop. I would absolutely pay the extra money for Loving Tan on this one. Buy Loving Tan
