Kylie Cosmetics Birthday 2018 Sipping Pretty Palette vs. CColor Cosmetics Birthday Blast Palette

*According to Cruelty-Free Kitty, Kylie Cosmetics is cruelty-free. Ccolor Cosmetics does not comment on the cruelty-free status. Makeup Maven, Kayla, says: Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Palette is $65 for 0.63 oz while CColor Cosmetics is $10.50 for 0.92 oz. You get far more product in the CColor than you do in Kylie's palette. Both brands have very similar packaging. Kylie's palette does have a much larger mirror but both have the same matte black packaging with the name of the palette in glitter writing. I despise this. The glitter gets all over the place when you touch it. Side by the side the palettes look identical. The matte shades in Kylie's palette are a bit harder to work with than CColor's. They take some finesse while blending. CColor's mattes blend easily but it does make for a bit more fall out. Both brands are very pigmented. I was not a fan of Kylie's Shimmer Shades at all. They were just chunky & crumbly. They didn't last long on the lid despite different ways I applied them. CColor's shimmers were much better, they looked more foiled & wet looking. They performed a lot better and were more pigmented as well. In the Kylie palette, Pour Decisions shade is absolutely beautiful as well as the one in CColor's palette. But it does not perform well. The glitter in the shade gets all over the place and despite different ways to apply, the glitter disappears and you're left with just a maroon matte shade after application. Despite the small differences in the shimmer shades, textures, and the ease of use in the matte shades - CColor's Birthday Blast palette is a spot-on dupe for Kylie's Sipping Pretty. I think Kylie's palette isn't anywhere near worth $65. Buy our pick
