Sephora Sale Finds (+ Their Dupes)

No one likes a sale like Brandefy likes a sale. We’re kind of a big deal in the money saving world (ha!). Yes, the beautiful products with a little something off the price tag are always nice to have. However, you know we’ve got to find dupes for these high-end products because the Sephora sale doesn’t happen everyday. See what goodies we found.

Sol De Janeira Brazilian Bum Bum Cream vs. Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter

Similarity Score: 76%

Both of these products come in tubs with a twist off top. We liked the smell of Soap & Glory better, which smelled like a retro perfume. Bum Bum Cream reminded us of a spiced cookie or baking ingredients. BBC is slightly thicker but both formulas moisturized well and felt good on the skin. Depending on which smell you prefer, we would definitely recommend trying the Soap & Glory. For only $15 for a 10 oz tub, you can't go wrong. Buy our pick

Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector vs. Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture with Sunscreen

Similarity Score: 72%

Neutrogena comes with a convenient pump while Shiseido is just a squeeze bottle. Neutrogena is unscented while Shiseido smells like sunscreen, but it rubs into the skin better than Neutrogena does. The functionality is slightly different due to the higher sunscreen concentration of Shiseido. Overall, we would go ahead and switch as these are pretty similar products and we preferred the unscented formula of Neutrogena. With Shiseido running you $35 and Neutrogena less than $10, we recommend saving your money here. Buy our pick

Living Proof Restore Shampoo vs. L’Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo

Similarity Score: 74%

L'Oreal has a very pleasant fruity scent while Living Proof only has a very faint herbal smell that is hard to detect. As far as consistency, LP is thicker and has a pearlescent sheen to it. However, both formulas lathered well and left the hair feeling equally soft. Overall, we are not convinced these are direct dupes but for only $3.99, L'Oreal still gives you a luxurious feel that might be worth the try! Try L’Oreal

Living Proof Restore Conditioner vs. L’Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner

SImilarity Score: 67%

L'Oreal has a nice fruity smell while Living Proof has a very faint herbal smell to it. The formulas are quite different considering L'Oreal is thicker and feels like a regular conditioner. Both seemed to smooth the hair fine, but our tester noted that after using L'Oreal, she felt like she was just using a regular conditioner with nothing special about it. Our tester said that she really liked L'Oreal's shampoo that went with this conditioner and would likely buy them as a set. It's a solid conditioner, but we aren't sure it compares well to Living Proof.

Living Proof Restore Leave-In Conditioner vs. L’Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm

Similarity Score: 66%

Living Proof didn't have much of a scent except for a very subtle coconut smell. We loved the scent of L'Oreal, which smelled fruity and pleasant. L'Oreal has a thicker texture but both formulas softened and restored the hair nicely. L'Oreal prices for $3.99 while Living Proof is $30. We much preferred both the smell and texture of L'Oreal and would definitely recommend saving your money here! Buy our pick
